Appointment FAQs

Everything you need to know about booking and what to expect at your first visit.

How do I make an appointment?+

Fill out the enquiry form above and one of our friendly team will reach out to arrange a time. You can also call our rooms directly on (07) 3333 5518.

What happens next?+

At your initial consultation, Dr Goutham Sivasuthan takes time to understand your symptoms, their impact and your goals. He takes a thorough history, examines you where needed, and agrees a treatment plan. A timeframe for any procedure is given at the consultation where possible, or in a follow-up call.

What do I need to bring?+

Just yourself and any questions you have. Investigations are often sent to us ahead of time by your GP or referring specialist, but you are welcome to bring your own copies too.

How much does it cost?+

Consultations have a set fee that is partly reimbursed by Medicare, payable by card or online transfer on the day. For any procedure, a written quote is provided beforehand — covering the procedure, all reviews during your hospital stay and your post-operative clinic review.

Do I need a referral?+

Yes. A referral from your GP or another specialist is needed so we can provide complete, coordinated care — and it is required for a Medicare rebate.
