What happens next?
During your initial consultation with Dr Goutham Sivasuthan, he will spend time with you to understand your symptoms, the impact it is having and your goals of treatment. A thorough history is carried out and physical examination may be required, followed by creating a treatment plan to achieve your goals. Where possible a time-frame for your procedure is given during the consultation but when this is not possible, a follow-up phone call is given with more information.
What do I need to bring?
Yourself! Along with any questions you might have. Investigations are often sent to us ahead of time by your General Practitioner or other referring specialist but we’re always happy for you to bring in your own copies as well.
How much does it cost?
Consultations have a set fee, which is partly reimbursed by Medicare. Payment for the consultation can be done by card or online transfer on the day of your appointment.
A quote is provided for your procedure fee, which covers the procedure, all reviews during your hospital stay and post-operative clinic review.
Do I need a referral?
Yes, a referral is needed from either your General Practitioner or other specialist looking after you to help us provide you with complete and holistic care.
